Anyone in Orkney over the next couple of weeks?  Lynda and I would love to see you at our exhibition in Stromness.  I'm travelling up tomorrow and taking the evening ferry.  Looking forward to setting it all up and meeting new people.  Also teaching a bookmaking class on Sunday afternoon.  Limited numbers, but there are still some spaces at the moment.

We will be showing an eclectic mix of new paintings, prints, mixed media textiles and artist books.  Lynda and I will each run an artist bookmaking workshop, mine will be a sewn notebook and will 'happen' on Sunday 4 June, Lynda's to follow a week later.  Watch this space for more information about the workshops.  In the meantime email me if you're interested, cost is £10 payable in advance and all materials will be provided.

Looking forward to our exhibition in Orkney at the Northlight Gallery, Stromness 2-14 September.  Sharing the space with Lynda Wilson another member of the Artist Book Group.  Above is a detail from one of my mixed media textile 'paintings'.  Watch this space for more.

We will both be offering an artist book making workshop, mine takes place on 4 September, more details to follow, but it will be a sewn notebook of some kind.  Lynda will be making non sewn structures.
